ISU Ties For Sixth At The Prestige At PGA West

LA QUINTA, Calif.—The Iowa State men's golf team tied for sixth at the Prestige at PGA West with a three-round 862 total. The Cyclones carded a 291 in the final round this afternoon.
LSU won the team title at 852, four strokes ahead of Pepperdine (856).
The outstanding field consisted of seven teams currently ranked in the Golfstat top-50.
Nick Voke and Sam Vincent led the Cyclones by tying for 12th with a 212 tally. Vincent had the low Cyclone score of the final round with a 2-under 69. Vincent, who had five birdies on the day, equaled his career-low round and his 212 established a new personal best for 54 holes.
Voke just missed out on his 16th top-10 finish of his outstanding career.
Ruben Sondjaja notched a top-20 finish by tying for 18th at 214.
The Cyclones are back in action at the National Invitation Tournament, Feb. 27-28 in Tucson, Ariz.
