AUSTIN, Texas - The Iowa State women's basketball team (16-11, 7-9 Big 12) travels to Austin, Texas to square off with No. 6 Texas (21-6, 14-2 Big 12) on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Iowa State is looking for its fourth-straight Big 12 win, after grabbing three-straight for the first time since 2014-15. Iowa State also looks for a victory over a top-10 team on the road for the first time since toppling No. 8 Texas, 58-57, during the 2014-15 season.Â

Iowa State is looking for its first win over a top-10 team on the road since topping No. 8 Texas, 58-57, in Austin on Jan. 25, 2015. - Jadda Buckley currently ranks sixth all-time in Iowa State history with 438 career assists. Her 438 career assists rank 34th nationally and third among juniors.
- The Cyclones rank second in the nation in free throw percentage (80.1%). ISU led the nation in 2012-13 and 2013-14 at the charity stripe.
- Bridget Carleton ranks first in the nation in free throw percentage (93.6), while Buckley is 14th netting 88.4 percent from the charity stripe. Buckley's 86.9 career free-throw percentage is third in the ISU record book and ranks second in the nation among active career leaders, just under Washington's Kelsey Plum's 88.1 percent. Carleton sits in second in school history netting 87.7 percent in her career as well.
- Iowa State has three of the Big 12's top 15 scorers with Carleton fourth (15.7), Johnson in fifth (15.4) and Buckley in 12th (14.1). No other Big 12 school has more than two in the top 15.
- Johnson currently ranks tied for fifth in school history in free throws made (384) and is sixth in free throws attempted (505). She needs one make to pass Chelsea Poppens for fifth all-time and 30 attempts to pass Hallie Christofferson for fifth all-time.
- The 2016-17 season marks the 22nd in the tenure of Bill Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is tied with Oklahoma as the most of any Big 12 team since 1997.
