Spirit Squads to Host Fourth-Annual Football Spirit Day Clinic and Halftime Routine

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State Cheerleaders and Dance Team will be hosting the fourth annual Cyclone Football Spirit Day Clinic on Friday, Oct. 13 from 6-8 p.m. (doors open for registration at 5:30pm) at the Bergstrom Indoor Football Complex.  Participants of the clinic will perform on the field at Jack Trice Stadium during half-time of the Iowa State vs. Kansas football game on Saturday, Oct. 14 (Time TBD).Â
This clinic will be offered to children ages 5-12 years old. Â Participants will learn their half-time performance routine of cheers and a dance. Â With registration, each participant will receive authentic Varsity Spirit Fashions pom poms that replicate the Iowa State Spirit Squad's pom poms to be used for the half-time performance in Jack Trice Stadium.Â
The cost for registration is $40, and registrations will be accepted through the day of the clinic (limited to the first 400 participants). Â Â
