Hey Cyclone Nation!
Over the past week and a half I've been in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the Olympic Training Center for training camp with the U18 USA National Team. We had two practices a day and really got after it when we scrimmaged a scout team as we were preparing for the FIBA Americas U18 championship, which is held in Mexico City, Mexico from Aug. 1-7.
We got a lot of good work in and even climbed to the top of The Manitou Incline, which was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance. We flew out to Mexico City on July 29th and scrimmaged Canada today. We have two more practices tomorrow before we begin playing games! I miss all my teammates and wish I could be with them right now but playing for the USA national team and getting to represent this country has always been a dream of mine and it is an absolute honor to get this opportunity! I can't wait to be able to put on an Iowa State jersey very soon!!
