Today is our final day here in the beautiful San José and it is also our last game day against the University of Ottawa! Since we have an earlier game than usual at 2 p.m., we started the day off together with breakfast/pregame meal at 9:30 a.m.
After breakfast we had some down time to tape, prepare for the game and some of us even fitted in some time to play baseball on the grass.
Before leaving for the game we had a team meeting and walk-through, then game time. Ottawa gave us a competitive game which was close right up until the last quarter! We finished the game strong and got the win to give us a 3-0 record to end the first of our preseason games here in Costa Rica.
After the game, we came back to the hotel before heading out to team dinner at a local Mexican themed restaurant, which was delicious. After dinner is was soon lights out before our early start in the morning as we leave San José to travel to Los Sueños!!
