AMES, Iowa - Iowa State will look to end the last remaining undefeated season in NCAA Division I volleyball on Wednesday night when the Cyclones host No. 1 Baylor at Hilton Coliseum. First serve between the Cyclones and Bears will be at 8 p.m.
Baylor has had an outstanding start to the season, coming into Hilton Coliseum with a 13-0 overall record which includes sweeping its last seven opponents. Iowa State will be looking for its second win over a No. 1 opponent in program history, having defeated then-No. 1 Nebraska in 2012 in Ames.

Prior to Wednesday night's match, Iowa State will recognize head coach Christy Johnson-Lynch for earning her 300th career win at West Virginia last weekend. That will take place with 11 minutes remaining on the pre-match clock, so please plan to be in your seats by then.
Tickets to Wednesday's match can be bought online on the day of the match, here, or starting one hour prior to the match at the Hilton Coliseum Ticket Office at the lower Southwest corner of Hilton. Students receive free admission to all Iowa State home volleyball matches, and should enter at the North entrance.Â
A reminder to season ticket holders with parking passes that they may park in any spot in Lots C1, C2, C3 and D1. The numbers on the bottom of the parking pass DO NOT indicate a specific spot where fans have to park.
A portion of the road outside the lower West side of Hilton remains closed. The drive lanes off of Lincoln Way and Center drive will both remain open, but fans will be unable to pass through from North to South or vice versa. The lower West doors and Ticket Office are still accessible, but only from the South side of Hilton.

Iowa State wrapped up a 2-0 week with a 3-0 sweep of West Virginia on Saturday morning in Morgantown. With Piper Mauck and Michal Schuler returning to the starting lineup after injuries at Iowa two weeks ago, the Cyclone offense thrived, as ISU hit .374 as a team. Annie Hatch led the way with 12 kills at .370 hitting, while Josie Herbst (11) and Eleanor Holthaus (10) were also in double figures. Candelaria Herrera led the block with four block assists.
The lone remaining undefeated team in NCAA Division I volleyball, Baylor comes into Wednesday night's match with a 13-0 record and atop the Big 12 standings at 3-0 after sweeping Kansas State in Waco over the weekend. The Bears have swept opponents in 11 of their 13 wins this season, and have not dropped a set since Sept. 12.
Baylor hits .323 as a team on the season, led by junior outside Yossiana Pressley. The two-time defending Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week averaged 5.92 kills per set, which she gets at .340 hitting. Redshirt senior middle blocker Shelly Stafford leads the Big 12 with her .372 hitting percentage. BU also has the league's top defense, holding opponents to .143 hitting on the season. The Baylor block averages 2.72 blocks per set, with freshman middle Kara McGhee leading the way with 1.20 stuffs per set.
Iowa State and Baylor will be meeting for the 49th time, with the all-time series tied at 24-24. Baylor has won the last four meetings and has won the past three encounters in Hilton Coliseum. Last season in Ames, the Bears won in five sets, led by Pressley's 39 kills, an effort which saw her earn National Player of the Week.
