AMES, Iowa - Refreshed after not having a match on the Wednesday matchday, the Iowa State volleyball team returns to Hilton Coliseum on Friday night to host Oklahoma in a battle for third in the Big 12. First serve between ISU and OU will be at 6:30 p.m.
The push for the postseason focuses in with four matches to go for the Big 12. The Cyclones will be looking to get in a tie for third with Oklahoma in the Big 12 standings, with OU coming off a five-set win against Texas Tech on Wednesday night.
Tickets to Friday's match can be bought online on the day of the match, here, or starting one hour prior to the match at the Hilton Coliseum Ticket Office at the lower Southwest corner of Hilton. Students receive free admission to all Iowa State home volleyball matches, and should enter at the North entrance.
The Iowa State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be hosting its annual CyCans Drive, and fans are encouraged to participate. Iowa State student-athletes will be at each entrance of Hilton Coliseum collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Food Bank of Iowa.
A reminder to season ticket holders with parking passes that they may park in any spot in Lots C1, C2, C3 and D1. The numbers on the bottom of the parking pass DO NOT indicate a specific spot where fans have to park.

Iowa State finished off a 2-0 week last Saturday with a 3-0 win over Kansas State at Ahearn Field House. The Cyclone defense shined, as ISU held K-State to .108 hitting, with 7.0 total blocks and 45 digs doing the trick. Candelaria Herrera led the front-row effort with six blocks, while Piper Mauck led the back-row with 12 digs, part of a double-double that included 35 assists.
In attack, Avery Rhodes led the way with 10 kills at a career-best .600 hitting, while Eleanor Holthaus also notched 10 kills, her fourth-straight match in double figures.
The Sooners are now 16-7 on the season and in third in the Big 12 with an 8-4 league record after Wednesday night's 3-2 win over Texas Tech in Norman. The Sooners used 17.0 total blocks to bring home the win, led by 10-block nights from middle blocker Brianna Kadiku and right side Sarah Sanders. Leading the attack was Ashlynn Dunbar, with the senior recording a double-double of 22 kills and 15 digs.
OU won the meeting in Norman over Iowa State 3-1. The Cyclones were hampered by a .121 team hitting percentage, while the Sooners added 10 service aces in the win. Leading for ISU in defeat was Eleanor Holthaus, who notched 13 kills.
Oklahoma will be looking for its first season sweep of Iowa State since 2006.
