Cyclones Host No. 5 Denver on Senior Night

Ames, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team will welcome Big 12 rival No. 5 Denver for Senior Night at Hilton Coliseum on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

The Cyclones are coming off their highest home score of the season after earning a 196.275 against No. 1 Oklahoma on Monday night. Sophia Steinmeyer, Natalia Ros Vaquer, Sydney Converse and Grace Woolfolk all earned 9.900s or better on their respected event. The last time four individual gymnasts earned a 9.900 or higher during the same meet happened during the 2006 season.

Furthermore, Woolfolk scored another 9.925 on beam which matched her personal-best she set at Georgia earlier this year. After scoring the second 9.925 of her freshman campaign, she is the only freshman in program history to earn above a 9.900 on beam twice during the same season.

The ticket promotion "5 for $5" will be in place for senior night. Fans attending the meet will be able to purchase five tickets for the price of five dollars by clicking the following link.
