Iowa State Takes Three of Five Over Creighton

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team wrapped up the preseason by winning three of five sets over No. 18 Creighton Friday night at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones won the first three sets of the match 26-24, 25-19 and 25-21, before the Bluejays won the fourth and fifth 25-22 and 15-11, respectively.
In front of a crowd of 1,186, all 16 of the Cyclones were able to get in on the action and show the fans and coaching staff what they can do heading into next week's season opening contests at Ole Miss.
Up Next
Iowa State begins the 2019 regular season next Friday at the Rebel Invitational, hosted by Ole Miss. The Cyclones will open the season against UCF, with first serve against the Knights in Oxford happening at 3 p.m.
