Naklo Finishes Play At US Open Junior Championships

FLUSHING, New York – Iowa State freshman Thasaporn Naklo and her doubles teammate Mai Napatt Nirundorn fell in heartbreaking fashion to the duo of Caijsa Hennemann (Sweden) and Alexandra Vecic (Germany), 3-6, 6-1, 0-1 (10-7), Wednesday afternoon in the second round at the US Open Junior Championships.
Naklo, a Bangkok, Thailand native, will return to Ames with the Cyclones' fall season beginning the week of Sept. 17 in Lubbock, Texas.
