Iowa State to Battle Penn State in First Duel

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State tennis will be competing with Penn State in the first dual of the season this weekend. The Cyclones and Nittany Lions will be playing at a neutral site, Kansas State's tennis facilities in Manhattan, Kansas. The match will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday morning.

Iowa State is 4-1 in the first dual of the season over the last five years.

Thasaporn Naklo had an incredible start to her spring season in Orlando last week.Â
In doubles she went a perfect 3-0 with Christin Hsieh. They were able to knock off No. 22 Jaeda Daniel and Adriana Reami from NC State on the first day of the tournament.
She also went on to upset No. 23 Reami in singles play.
