For the No. 11 Iowa State men, the featured event will be the men's 800-meter run, which features All-Americans Festus Lagat and Roshon Roomes, along with Cebastian Gentil, Daniel Nixon, Leonel Perez and Joe Schaefer all entered to run for the Cyclones. Another notable competitor is David Too, with the cross country All-Big 12 and All-Midwest Region honoree entered in the 1,000m run and the mile.
On the women's side, cross country All-American Cailie Logue is entered to run in the mile. She got off to a strong start in the track and field season with her 15:50.15 in the 5K at the Boston Season Opener ranking No. 9 in NCAA Division I.
