Iowa State Bids Farewell To Schloerke

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Athletics will say farewell to a familiar voice on Saturday when Karl Schloerke calls his final football game from the press box.

Schloerke has been the Cyclones' football public address announcer for 20 seasons, calling his first game in 2001.

Schloerke notified the department this would be his final year at the beginning of the season.

John Walters recently sat down with Schloerke to discuss his career.
