- Sophomore Ashley Joens, has turned heads so far into her sophomore campaign. Recently she was named one of three unanimous selections to the All-Big 12 First-Team. Joens is currently averaging a double-double with 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds and has claimed a league-high six Big 12 weekly honors. She is also named to the Cheryl Miller Award Top-5 and the Naismith Trophy Midseason Top-30.
- Joens has 594 points so far this season, which ranks fifth all-time in ISU history. She needs 11 more to move into fourth all-time (Angie Welle, 2001, 605) and 36 to move into third (Lindsey Wilson, 2002, 630).
- Joens is currently first in the Big 12 in scoring and 11th in the nation, averaging 20.5 points per game, while her 10.5 rebounds ranks third in the Big 12 and 13th nationally, the most of any guard in the league. - Scott is on the heels of joining the 1,000-point club, as she has 962 points in her career. She needs just 38 to reach the milestone.
