Cyclones Finish Day Two In Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Chie Kezuka picked up a three-set win and Iowa State's doubles team of Sofia Cabezas and Christin Hsieh cruised to a victory on the second day at the June Stewart Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt.
Kezuka rallied after dropping the first set to defeat Miami's Nada Dmovska, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3. Kezuka improves to 5-1 in singles action this fall.
In doubles play, Cabezas and Hsieh rolled past the Illini duo of Emily Casati and Shivani Ingle for a 6-2 win.
Play concludes Sunday at the tournament.
