Nayeli Gonzalez, OH
Gonzalez played for Coach Mike Carter at Cornerstone Christian Schools and with the Alamo Volleyball Club. As a current senior, the outside hitter has earned four tournament MVP honors. "When I think of Nayeli, I think physicality," Johnson-Lynch said. "She's tall, she's strong, she's got a powerful arm. I think she's going to bring a lot of fun, joy and athleticism to the position."
Pam McCune, MB
McCune played for Coach Bill Pribac at St. John's College Highschool. As a middle blocker, McCune earned First Team All-Conference honors while being named to the All-State team. Currently as a senior, McCune averages 1.8 blocks and 2.4 kills per set. McCune was named to the AVCA All American watchlist and picked up an invitation to the Under Armour All America Camp while playing for Coaches Silvia Johnson and Patrice Arrington for the Metro Volleyball Club.
"Pam is another absolutely perfect fit for our program," Johnson-Lynch said. "She's a great student, as is Nayeli. A wonderful athlete, a hard worker, just the perfect ideal athlete you're looking for. Pam, when I think of her, I think quick, gets places very fast. I think she's going to be terrific as a blocker, she gets up off the floor so fast."
