Cyclone Club’s New Exclusive Giving Level Will Enhance The Student-Athlete Experience.
Ames, Iowa – The Cyclone Club, the fund-raising arm of Iowa State University's 18-sport intercollegiate athletics program, has introduced a new philanthropic giving program to generate resources to provide an elite level academic and athletic experience for all Cyclone student-athletes.
The new Champions Circle is designed for donors whose major gift commitments are above and beyond their annual giving support tied to seating and parking This group of philanthropic supporters will play a critical role in the future success of Iowa State Athletics.
"We are thrilled to introduce the Champions Circle to the Cyclone family," Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations Ryan McGuire said. "Iowa State supporters are incredibly generous and the Champions Circle will provide us another avenue to recognize individuals who are helping our student-athletes achieve academic and athletic success.
"The Champions Circle will provide an opportunity for our staff to have conversations with our donors who want to philanthropically support Iowa State Athletics," he added. "That support can come in many forms, all of which will allow us to provide an outstanding student-athlete experience and keep advancing our programs."
Contributions to the Champions Circle will be used to fund proposed new facility construction and renovations to existing facilities, scholarship, coaching and administrative endowments, student-athlete development opportunities, and other Athletics Department operations designed to enhance the student-athlete experience. Through their transformational support, Champions Circle members will collectively help elevate and promote comprehensive academic and athletic excellence across each of ISU's 18 athletic programs.
Champions Circle commitment levels include philanthropic gifts of $50,000, $100,000, $250,000, $500,000, and $1 million and beyond. Gifts and pledges to the Champions Circle may be paid over a five-year period and are tax-deductible contributions that provide flexibility for various gifting vehicles to be utilized.
