Iowa State is seeking its 26th win of the season, having reached 26 wins just five times in program history (1999-00, 2000-01, 2006-07, 2008-09, 2018-19).

KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State placed a league-high three on the All-Big 12 First Team with Ashley Joens earning a unanimous nod and Lexi Donarski and Emily Ryan making their debut on the First Team.
- Iowa State's three All-Big 12 First Team selections also set a program record, with ISU placing two on the First Team in 2012-13.
- Lexi Donarski became the first Cyclone to earn Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Donarski held her primary defensive assignment in league play to just 9.3 points and 30 percent shooting.
- Iowa State picked up the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 Championship for the sixth time in school history (1998, 1999, 2010, 2013, 2019, 2022). The Cyclones are 7-5 all-time as the No. 2 seed.

- Ryan has 213 assists on the season, which ranks fourth all-time on ISU's single season charts. She is four assists away from No. 2 in ISU single-season history.
- Iowa State checked in at No. 6 overall in the NCAA Women's Basketball Committee's Top 16. The Cyclones were the No. 2 seed in the Bridgeport Regional.

- Iowa State picked up a school record 14th conference win on Saturday at West Virginia, locking up the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 Championship. The Cyclones took down WVU 74-57.
- Emily Ryan was outstanding, netting a career-high 29 points. The sophomore also set a new career high with 10 field goals, going an efficient 10-of-12 from the field.
- Lexi Donarski added 11 points and six rebounds for her 25th game of the season in double figures.
