Iowa State Finishes Season Ranked No. 35

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team ended the 2021-22 season ranked No. 35 in the ITA College Tennis Rankings by Tennis-Point. It is ISU's second-straight top-35 finish.
The Cyclones finished the season 16-7 overall and advanced to their second-straight NCAA Tournament, which represents the only two appearances in school history.
ISU earned six top-50 wins this season, highlighted by a win at No. 22 Kansas that was the Cyclones' first-ever in Lawrence. It also gave the Cyclones back-to-back wins against the Jayhawks for the first time since 1981.
Under the direction of Boomer Saia, ISU is 45-32 the last four seasons. In the last two seasons, the Cyclones are 30-15.
