Cyclones to Host a One Day Softball Camp

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team is set to host a one day fall camp at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The camp is set for Oct.1st for anyone entering grades eight and above.
This camp is designed to give high level instruction in several different environments. Campers will have the opportunity to work with Cyclone coaches in a practice setting, game setting, and a mental/visual training. The camp is set up to allow you to showcase your skills in each of these environments while improving your game. No food will be provided but there will be a break for lunch.
WHAT TO BRING: Glove, tennis shoes, bat, helmet, batting gloves, lunch and a water bottle.
LOCATION: Cyclone Sports Complex (939 Ash Ave. Ames, IA 50014)
AGES:Â Anyone entering grades eight and above.
SCHEDULE:
8:00am – 9:30am | Pitching and catching
9:00am | All other campers arrive
9:15am | Warmup for defense
9:30am – 10:30am | Defense position work
10:45am – 12:15pm | Hitting rotation
12:15pm – 12:45pm | Lunch
1:00pm – 6:00pm | Game, hitting, and mental training rotation
