AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Jeremy Sudbury has announced the schedule for the 2022-23 Indoor Track and Field season. The full lineup includes 11 meets prior to the Cyclones heading to Big 12 Championships.
Iowa State opens the season at the Sharon Colyear – Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass. on Dec. 3.
The Cyclones then host their home opener with the ISU Holiday Invitational Dec. 9-10. Iowa State has two additional home meets on Jan. 21 with the Cyclone Open and the Iowa State Classic held on Feb. 4.
ISU begins 2023 at the Graduate Classic in Lincoln, Neb. slated for Jan. 13-14. The Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. takes place Jan. 27-28. On Feb. 10-11, Iowa State takes on the Tyson Invitational, also held in Fayetteville, and the Husky Classic hosted by the University of Washington. The final meets before Big 12s include the Arkansas Qualifier, Snowshoe Open and the JDL DMR Invitational on Feb. 17.
Texas Tech plays host to the Big 12 Championships this year, taking place Feb. 24 and 25. The last time Big 12 Indoor Championships were held in Lubbock was in 2021.
NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Albuquerque, N.M. this season on March 10 and 11.
