ATHENS, Georgia – The Iowa State diving team finished out the UGA Bulldog Diving Invitational on 1-meter Thursday. Joscelyn Buss led the team for a third-straight day, finishing with a score of 252.10 to finish in in 15th place. Freshmen Ally Blumenfeld and Kate Mitchell were just 1.3 points off from each other, landing in a back-to-back placement. Blumenfeld scored 233.45 in 21st place, while Mitchell scored 232.15 in 22nd place. Jayna Misra closed out the Iowa State lineup with a score of 179.55 to finish 40th.
ON DECK: Double dual against UNI and West Virginia
The Cyclones will play host for their first double dual of the season against UNI and their first Big 12 matchup, West Virginia. The teams will go head-to-head on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. Admission to Beyer Pool is free and open to the public.
