The Iowa State cross country teams travel to Madison this weekend to participate in the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armor. The Cyclones enter Friday's meet coming off three weeks of rest following a strong showing at the Virginia Invitational. A time change was made Thursday morning due to rain in the forecast as the women's "A" race will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the men's "A" race following at 11:40 a.m.

The Field at Nuttycombe
Iowa State faces another loaded field at Nuttycombe on Friday morning. On the men's side, eight of the top-10 teams and 20 of the top-25 teams are listed in the meet's entries while the women's side will boast seven top-10 and 18 top-25 squads. Full "A" race team participants can be found below.

Spectator Information
There is no spectator parking at the cross country course or University Ridge. Spectator parking will be located at Blackhawk Church in Middleton, Wisconsin.
Blackhawk Church: The Blackhawk Church is located five miles north of the University Ridge off of West Mineral Point Road. If traveling on the Beltline, exit to West Mineral Point Road and continue to Veritas Drive or Brader Way (both located on the right). Parking is available behind the church on the upper level. The shuttle will pick-up and drop-off at the upper level of the parking structure.

Spectator shuttles are available for transportation to the course. One accessible shuttle will be available. The shuttle service, which is free this season, begins at 9 a.m. and concludes one hour after the final race has finished. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the upper level of the parking structure at Blackhawk Church. Fans are encouraged to arrive early so you don't miss any of the action!
Parking is not allowed on County Highway PD or County Highway M near the Zimmer Course. Any vehicles violating this will be subject to ticket and tow at the owner's expense.
Cyclone Women Make Jump to Top-15 in USTFCCCA Coaches Poll
Following a strong sixth-place team finish at the UVA Invitational on September 23rd, the Iowa State women jumped from 26th to 12th in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. After three weeks off, the women dropped a spot to 13th but will have a chance to further improve at this weekend's Nuttycombe Invitational.
Cyclone Men Sit in Top-25 in USTFCCCA Week 3 Poll
The Iowa State men improved two spots in the Week 3 USTFCCCA Coaches Poll to enter Friday's competition as the 23rd ranked team in the nation. The Cyclones made the jump following a 13th-place team finish at the UVA Invitational.
Iowa State Women Claim Two Teams Wins to Start 2023
The Cyclone women are off to a hot start after wrapping up two preseason meets with two team wins. Iowa State claimed 13 of the top-14 individual finishes at the Cyclone Preview before outracing runner-up Nebraska, 52-62, at the Greeno-Dirksen Invitational.
Keeney Claims Big 12 Weekly Honors
Sophomore Ashlyn Keeney picked up her first career Big 12 Runner of the Week award following a fourth-place finish at the Greeno-Dirksen Invitational. The North Liberty, Iowa native finished the women's 5K in 17:22.2 to lead the Cyclones to their second team win in as many meets.
Cyclone Men Complete Sweep at Cyclone Preview
The Iowa State men also had a strong showing at their home meet as Silas Winders ran to an individual title in the 6K race with a time of 17:57.3. Kelvin Bungei ran for third place in 18:11.2 while Quinton Orr was also among the top-five in 18:20.3.
Hill Earns First Big 12 Weekly Award
Following a solid performance at the season opener, Madelynn Hill was selected as the Big 12 Women's Runner of the Week. It marks the first time in her career that she's earned the honor. Hill was the top scoring individual finisher and runner-up at the Cyclone preview, finishing 19 seconds ahead of teammate Dana Feyen in third place.
Iowa State Makes Preseason Impression
Earlier this week, the USTFCCCA released its preseason regional and national cross country rankings for both NCAA DI men and women. The Cyclone women checked in at No. 2 in the Midwest regional poll and No. 27 nationally while the men were third in the regional poll and cracked the top-25 in the national standings.
