Dunlap's Singles Win Highlights Day Three of Big 12 Fall Invite

WACO, Texas – Isabella Dunlap picked up her second singles win of the tournament as Iowa State competed on day three of the Big 12 Fall Invite.
The day started with doubles as Juliette Nask and Jaleesa Leslie (UCF) took down Kansas' Silvia Maria Costache and Tamari Gagoshidze, 6-4. They faced Houston's Sonya Kovalenko and Sophie Schouten in their second match, where they fell, 6-0.
Dunlap and Anna Supapitch Kuearum competed in the Flight One doubles draw quarterfinals against Cincinnati's Morgan Pyrz and Elizabeth Pendergast, fighting hard but eventually falling, 6-2.
In singles action, Dunlap tangled with Kansas' Tamari Gagoshidze. She took her down in two sets, 6-2, 6-4. Nask competed against Cincinnati's Rozalia Gruszczynska, falling, 6-4, 6-1.
Anna Supapitch Kuearum would lose in a walkover due to injury to Cincinnati's Pendergast.
The Cyclone will finish play at the Big 12 Fall Invite tomorrow, with doubles play starting at 10 a.m.
