Three Cyclones Set For U20 World Team Trials

AMES, Iowa – Three Cyclones will compete at the U20 World Team Trials June 2-4 in Geneva, Ohio. Paniro Johnson (70 kg), MJ Gaitan (79 kg) and Tate Naaktgeboren (86 kg) will all compete in Freestyle. Naaktgeboren will also wrestle in the 87 kg Greco-Roman bracket.

Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. Friday with U20 Greco-Roman preliminaries, quarterfinals, semifinals, challenge finals and consolations. Medal matches and the best-two-of-three finals will take place at 3 p.m.

U20 Freestyle preliminaries, quarterfinals, semifinals, challenge finals and consolations will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The best-two-of-three finals is slated for 3 p.m.
