AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's golf team finished the year ranked in the Top 20 in both national polls, while making the NCAA Regionals for a school-record 13th-straight season.
KEY STORYLINES
-Iowa State placed sixth at the NCAA Westfield Regional after carding an 860 (286-288-286) total.
-The team's 860 three-round tally was the lowest NCAA 54-hole score in program history.
-The Cyclones sixth place finish was the best finish in an NCAA Regional in Iowa State history.Â
-Earning a bid to the NCAA Westfield Regional marked the 13th-straight time the Cyclones have made a regional.Â
-Freshman Karsia Chul-Ak-Sorn earned All-American honors from GolfWeek and the WGCA. Chul-Ak-Sorn was also named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and the WGCA National Freshman of the Year.
-Iowa State set the lowest 54-hole score in NCAA history with a 60-under 804 total at the MountainView Collegiate.Â
-The team broke the school record for best single-season 54-hole scoring average with a 286.90.
-The Cyclones earned two team victories this season (MountainView Collegiate, San Diego State Classic).
-Iowa State concluded the regular season ranked No. 18 by Golfweek and No. 21 according to Golfstat.
-Chul-Ak-Sorn was selected for the  Arnold Palmer Cup and ranked fifth in the International Rankings.Â
-Chul-Ak-Sorn finished with the lowest single-season scoring average in program history at 70.56.
-Chul-Ak-Sorn broke the school's 18-hole (62) and 54-hole (191) scores at the MountainView Collegiate.
-Chul-Ak-Sorn tied the NCAA record with her 25-under 191 tally at the MountainView Collegiate.Â
-Taglao Jeeravivitaporn now holds the second-most rounds played in NCAA history at 152.
-Liyana Durisic recorded the best career stroke average in Iowa State history with a 72.82.
