Kuearum Advances At ITA All-American Championships

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State's Anna Supapitch Kuearum advanced with a big win over her opponent from Duke at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina Saturday, highlighting a day of action for the Cyclones on the tennis courts.

Kuearum competed in singles action against Duke's Katerina Berankova, taking down the senior, 6-3, 6-4. With the win, Kuearum advances into the final round of pre-qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships.

Kuearum will return to action on Sunday against Vanderbilt's Valeria Ray at 10:30 a.m. (CDT).

Jon Messick Invitational
Isabella Dunlap returned to action at the Jon Messick Invitational on Saturday.

In singles action, Dunlap battled South Dakota's Amanda de Oliver. Dunlap battled for two tough sets, ultimately falling, 7-5, 7-5.

In doubles action, Dunlap partnered with Colorado's Willow Gretsch in a hard-fought battle against South Dakota's Selena Bird and Hitakamya Narwal Singh, before falling, 6-2.

The Jon Messick Invitational will resume on Sunday at 10 a.m.
