Iowa State fell to No. 24 West Virginia in its third-straight road game, 84-78. The Cyclones shot over 48 percent from the floor and nearly 83 percent from the free throw line with 23 trips to the line. Audi Crooks posted her eighth 20-point game and fourth double-double with career highs in points (25) and rebounds (16). Crooks tied a season high with nine made free throws while seeing 31 minutes of action. Jalynn Bristow also scored in double figures with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor. The Cyclones shot over 55 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep in the first half to hold a 40-38 lead. The Mountaineers also shot 50 percent from long range and 45 percent overall in the first half. Like every other game this season, Iowa State outrebounded its opponent, pulling down 36 boards to WVU's 27. ISU's rebound margin is +12.1, the seventh-best mark in the nation.
INSIDE WEDNESDAY'S MATCHUP
Iowa State and Oklahoma State face off for the second time this season and the 76th time in program history. In Iowa State's first Big 12 contest this season, the Cyclones picked up a 76-68 win in Stillwater. The win was the first step to matching the best start to league play in program history (6-0, 2000). In the December win, Iowa State was led by four double figure scorers. Audi Crooks and Addy Brown combined for 41 points while each recording 20-point games. Arianna Jackson knocked down four triples, including two late in the fourth quarter to record a then-season-high 14 points. ISU dominated the boards, outrebounding OSU, 48-21.

Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 43 triples through 19 games and connecting on 39.8 percent of her attempts from deep. This season, ISU is 21st in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 8.6 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 163 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in six games this season.
