Cyclones Finish in 10th After Round 1

PALO ALTO, Calif. The Cyclones rounded out their first day of the Stanford Intercollegiate in 10th, shooting nine-over. Nichakorn Pinprayoon and Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn found themselves at the top of the Cyclones leaderboard and tied for seventh after the first round. Pinprayoon totaled five birdies on her card, shooting a two-under round. Chul-Ak-Sorn also grabbed five birdies and even snagged an eagle on her first hole of the day.

Pammy Chookaew finished her first round in a tie for 50th, shooting a three-over 74. Alexandra Vidal ended her first round in a tie for 88th, shooting an eight-over round. Keeley Marx matched that, also shooting an eight-over round, putting her in a tie for 88th as well.

The Cyclones will look to continue to roll heading into moving day. The host of the tournament, Stanford, leads the pack at 11-under and a seven-stroke cushion going into the second round.
