Cyclones Unbeaten On Day Three At Drake

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team finished the weekend strong at the Bulldog Classic, finishing the tournament with a 3-0 record on the final day of competition.

In doubles action, Julia Camblor and Valeska San Martin Ramirez teamed up for a 6-2 victory over the Drake pairing of Jessica Popiol and Elizabete Klavinska.

Freshman Gabriela Felix earned her first collegiate singles victory with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Linn Svaerd of North Dakota. Suzanie Pretorius didn't drop a game in her straight-set win against UND's Manon Hallemans.

The Cyclones return to action next weekend as Anna Supapitch Kuearum heads to ITA Super Regionals in Ann Arbor, Michigan, while her teammates travel to Houston for the Rice Invitational.
