Cyclones Head East for Colleton River Collegiate

AMES, Iowa - Following the Prestige at PGA West, the Cyclones will begin their March golf season in Bluffton, S.C. at the Colleton River Collegiate for a two-day tournament beginning with the first 36 holes on Monday, March 4 and concluding with the final 18 holes on Tuesday, March 5.

The Lineup (Alphabetically): Paul Beauvy, Luke Gutschewski, Hunter Johnson (Ind.), Zach May, Owen Sawyer, Dianchao Wu

The Course: The golf legends consider this to be one of the finest 18 holes in the game of golf. The Nicklaus Course measures over 7,100 yards providing the golfers with a balance between challenge and playability. The front nine provides marsh-like features will the back nine is exposed to the winds and scenic vistas all provided by the Colleton River.

From the Notes:
- On the Cyclones' all-time career stroke average list, Luke Gutschewski sits in first with a 71.57 scoring average.
- Gutschewski won the Zach Johnson Invitational with a career three-round low (198) with all round scores in the 60s. Zach May (T3) and Paul Beauvy (T9) both joined him in the top ten.
- Owen Sawyer set a personal low round score of 70. Sawyer also set a three-round low (213) along with a new best finish (T12th) at the Zach Johnson Invitational.
- The Cyclones won two tournaments in the month of September, the Iowa Fall Classic and the Zach Johnson Invitational.
