HOUSTON, Texas – The Iowa State women's diving team wrapped up its season at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships this week. The Cyclones had three divers compete this week in Houston.
Divers had five dives on platform and six for both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
Ally Blumfield competed in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform dive events while Lauren Kimball competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Kate Mitchell competed in the 3-meter and platform as well.
In the 1-meter, Kimball finished with a score of 251.15 for 31st place in the preliminary round. Blumfield earned a score of 216.55 for 43rd place.
On Tuesday, all three divers competed in the 3-meter event. Mitchell earned the top score for ISU of 254.75 (37th) while Blumfield (242.80) and Kimball (236.80) were 44th and 45th, respectively.
The Cyclones finished with platform diving on Wednesday. Mitchell produced Iowa State's top score of 200.90 for 20th place while Blumfield was 25th with a score of 187.30.
