AMES, Iowa - The Cyclonitas will travel to Tucson, Ariz. for the MountainView Collegiate, co-hosted by Kansas State and Missouri. This three day tournament will begin on Friday, March 15 and wrap up with the last 18 holes on Sunday, March 17.Â
The Cyclonitas were the MountainView Collegiate champions in 2023 setting multiple tournament and school records. The Iowa State women's golf team holds the tournament record for Low Team Round (259) and Low Team 54-Hole Score (804). Sophomore Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn also holds tournament records for Low Individual Round (62) and Low Individual 54-Hole Score (191).Â

The Course: The Preserve Golf Club is located within the western foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. This course is as challenging as it is scenic using the rolling desert ridges and deep arroyos.
From the Notes:
- Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn carded a 208 at the Chevron Collegiate, placing her in the record book for Low 54-Hole Tournament for the fifth time.
- The Cyclonitas tied for second at the Nexus Collegiate Invitational, their season best finish. Liyana Durisic tied for seventh.
- Chul-Ak-Sorn, Pammy Chookaew, Tess Blair and Durisic all carded a new season Low 56-Hole Tournament score at the Chevron Collegiate.Â
- Chul-Ak-Sorn, Durisic and Chookaew are holding the top three spots for low career stroke average.Â
