Stanford Invite Primer

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State continues outdoor season with the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California Friday, March 29. The Cyclones will have 11 women's and 10 men's distance runners along with throwers Cam Jones and Kevin Sakson in action.

Events for Iowa State begin at 11:54 a.m. CT with Taylor Briggs' and Kaylee Tobaben's section of the 5,000-meter. The meet will be streamed by FloTrack.

Iowa State opened outdoor season at the USF Invite. Rachel Joseph and Cam Jones swept the Big 12 Athlete of the Week awards as they both posted then-nation-leading marks. Joseph set an outdoor-best 52.21 in the 400m and Jones also put up an outdoor best in the shot put with 63-2 3/4 (19.27m).

The Cyclones next head to Miami, Florida for the Miami Invitational April 5-6.
