AMES, Iowa - Addy Brown has been named the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week after helping Iowa State women's basketball to an unbeaten week, which secured the Cyclones a double bye in the 2024 Big 12 Championship.
The freshman led the way in scoring for ISU on the road against No. 15 Kansas State, posting a career-high 24 points and 11 rebounds to secure her ninth double-double of the season. Brown shot an efficient 9-of-13 from the field while scoring 18 of her points in the second half. The win snapped the Wildcats' 17-game home winning streak.
The 6 -2 forward from Derby, Kansas, scored double digits again in a win over Cincinnati, posting 10 points, 5 assists and a pair of rebounds.
Iowa State now moves to postseason play, heading to Kansas City for the Phillips' 66 Big 12 Championship as the No. 4 seed. The Cyclones' first game will be a quarterfinal on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m.
