ISU at No. 1 Oklahoma Conference Opener Altered

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma University has announced an altered timeline to the 2024 2024 Big 12 opening weekend, being held March 8-10 at Love's Field in Norman, Okla.

The Cyclones and Sooners were previously scheduled to meet up on Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m. but will now play twice on Saturday, March 9, where the Sooners and Cyclones will face off in a doubleheader.

Saturday will start with the originally scheduled 2 p.m. game with Friday's makeup game set to follow at 5 p.m.

Friday's postponement comes due to forecasted inclement weather in Norman and the surrounding area.

This will be ISU's second game impacted by weather through the early part of the season, as its game against Virginia in the Rawlings Classic was postponed due to rain.

Tickets for the original Friday contest (March 8) will be accepted for entry to the rescheduled 5 p.m. game on Saturday. Fans will not be able to scan their tickets for entry until the stadium has been completely cleared following the conclusion of the 2 p.m. contest. All fans, including those with tickets to both games on Saturday, must exit the stadium following the conclusion of the 2 p.m. game.

If fans can no longer attend the game that is moving from Friday to Saturday at 5 p.m., they must reach out to the point of purchase for a refund or solution. Any single-game tickets that were purchased through the Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office can be refunded by contacting the office at outickets@ou.edu or 405-325-2424.
