AMES, Iowa – Iowa State is set to compete at the 114th Drake Relays Wednesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 27. Ezekiel Rop and Silas Winders will also be in action this week at the Payton Jordan Invite hosted by Stanford on April 26.

Events for Iowa State begin Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. as Kiersten Fisher, Kailynn Gubbels and Sydney Willits begin the heptathlon. Last year at Drake, Iowa State took the title in the women's 4x1,600m with the school record while also winning the shuttle hurdle relay, distance medley relay and in 100m hurdles.
At Payton Jordan, Rop will run the 1,500m and Winders will race in the 5,000m.
Last week three school records fell. Gable Sieperda hit the Olympic Trials automatic qualifier as he moved atop the ISU record board while Rachel Joseph downed both the 400m and 200m records. Following the Virginia Challenge and John McDonnell Invite, the men moved up two spots in the USTFCCCA national rankings to No. 21.
