AMES, Iowa – Iowa State wraps up regular season hosting the ISU Alumni Open at the Cyclone Sports Complex while Finley Mclear will compete at the Kehoe Twilight hosted by Maryland on Friday, May 3. The Cyclones will honor 12 seniors at the meet.

Field events will start at 3 p.m. in Ames with running events beginning at 5:30 p.m. At the Kehoe Twilight, Mclear will run the 800-meter at 5:15 p.m. CT.
Last week at Drake Relays, Iowa State totaled six new top-10 ranked performances while Dana Feyen (10,000m), Cam Jones (Shot Put) and the men's 4x800m were crowned champions. Finley Mclear (No. 14, 800m) and Kevin Sakson (No. 17, Discus) both added top-20 ranked performances in the nation. Iowa State currently has 36 performances in NCAA West Prelims qualifying position.

The Iowa State men continue their upward trend, moving up three spots in this week's USTFCCCA national rankings to No. 18. The men entered the rankings at No. 23 two weeks ago.
Big 12 Championships are next, with Baylor hosting Thursday, May 9 through Saturday, May 11.
