Cyclones in 11th After Day One of The Windy City Classic

WILMETTE, ILL.- The Cyclones finish round one of the Windy City Classic in 11th, shooting 25-over after 36 holes.

Pammy Chookaew led the Cyclones in the first round, shooting three-over after 36 holes, putting her in a tie for 16th with just one round to play. Chookaew found herself four birdies and one eagle just on her second 18-hole round. Keeley Marx found herself tied for 32nd, shooting two three-over rounds, putting her in the second spot for the Cyclones. Marx picked up 5 birdies in her first round of the tournament.

One stroke behind Marx was Freshman Nichakorn Pinprayoon, shooting a seven-over round. Pinprayoon ended her first day in a tie for 41st and grabbed five birdies. Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn ended her first round in a tie for 54th, shooting nine-over after 36 holes. Freshman Alexandra Vidal finished off the Cyclones shooting a 17-over round, putting her in a tie for 72nd.

With just one day and 18 holes left, Arizona State leads the pack after shooting three-over after 36 holes of the Windy City Classic.
