The Iowa State Cyclones (2-2, 0-0 Big 12) host the UNI Panthers (0-1, 0-0 MVC) on Saturday for its senior day celebration at Beyer Hall in Ames. Â
THE OPPONENT - UNIÂ
The Cyclones are gearing up for an in-state rivalry as they face off against the Panthers. Â
Previously, the two teams competed at the Hawkeye Invite in Iowa City this past November, where the Cyclones finished eighth, with UNI close behind in ninth.Â
UNI has participated in only one dual meet so far, facing the Hawkeyes and enduring a 173-127 loss.Â
LAST TIME OUT - IowaÂ
The Cyclones faced a tough challenge against a strong Iowa team, resulting in their second loss of the season.Â
Anja Peck and Winter Craig delivered standout performances for the Cyclones in the swimming events. Peck secured second place in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, achieving a personal best in the 200 and earning the fourth spot on ISU's all-time freshman record list. Her efforts earned her Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors.Â
Craig remained steady in the butterfly, taking first place in the 200 fly and third in the 100 fly.Â
Mallory Miller made her mark on the All-Time Top Performer's list in the 400 IM, setting a personal best time of 4:21.00, earning her the sixth spot on the list and a second-place finish.Â
On the diving side, freshman Maggie Bendell qualified for the NCAA Zone Qualifiers for the first time this season in the 1-meter event, placing fourth with a score of 266.05. She narrowly missed qualifying in the 3-meter with a third-place finish and a score of 279.15.Â
WHAT TO WATCH FOR - BreaststrokeÂ
The Cyclones have shown impressive strength in breaststroke events. In their competition against Iowa, they dominated both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, claiming all top five placings in each race. Â

Iowa State will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to compete against the Horned Frogs in their first Big 12 match up of the season on January 17th at 5 p.m. Â
