AMES, Iowa - Four members of the Iowa State swimming and diving team have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the 2025-26 season. Ally Blumenfeld, Abbi Crum, Corinne Guist, and Kate Mitchell each received the recognition.
The CSC Academic All-District recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. Student-athletes must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and the proper athletic accomplishments to make the ballot.
Blumenfeld competed in all of the Cyclones' regular-season meets and scored a lifetime-best 231.75 on platform at the Big 12 Duals in Houston. She qualified for finals at the Big 12 Championships in both the 3-meter and platform events and went on to compete at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships to close out her senior season.
Crum recorded four personal-best times this season in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM and 400 IM, all coming at the Big 12 Championships. She competed in every regular season meet, providing consistency for the Cyclones throughout the year.
Guist swam a personal-best time of 51.99 in the 100 freestyle at the Big 12 Championships and competed in every regular-season meet during the 2025-26 season, providing depth across freestyle events for the Cyclones.
Mitchell recorded personal-best scores in all three diving events in her final season as a Cyclone, with a 291.00 on 1-meter, 321.08 on 3-meter and 254.45 on platform. She qualified for finals in all three events at the Big 12 Championships and advanced to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in each event.
