AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's golf team head out west to La Quinta, California for a stacked tournament at The Prestige at PGA West. The 24-team field includes eleven programs ranked inside the Top-50. The Cyclones will tee off on Monday, Feb. 17th at 8:45 a.m. CT, and the tournament will conclude on Wednesday, Feb. 19th.

COURSE INFORMATION
The newest course at PGA West is aptly described as being very "challenging but fair." Sporting only 68 acres of lush manicured turf, 102 white crushed marble bunkers and shark blue water coming into play on 9 holes, this 7,200-yard course offers a truly "Outback" experience that will entice you back time and time again.
KEY STORYLINES
- Paul Beauvy secured his first tournament victory two weeks ago at the N.I.T., carding a 201 (-15), becoming the third Cyclone to win the event (Nick Voke and Scott Fernandez).
- Iowa State finished in fifth place at the N.I.T., carding a season-low 840 and the sixth-lowest 18 hole score as a team in school history in the final round (271).Â
- Beauvy tied the third-lowest 54 hole score (201) and tied the third-lowest round in school history in the third round of the N.I.T. (64). Beauvy also scored a hole-in-one on Hole 17's Par 3 in the third round, his second ace of his career.
- Finishing right behind Beauvy in third round scoring was Luke Gutschewski (65), tying the ninth-lowest round in school history. Gutschewski finished in a tie for eighth place, his thirteenth Top-10 finish in his career.
- The Cyclones currently have three golfers inside the Top-10 of the career stroke average list. Gutschewski sits atop the list at 71.43, Beauvy jumped up to second with 71.76, and Owen Sawyer is eighth with 72.67.
- The Cyclones picked up two tournament victories in the fall season, winning the Gopher Invitational and the Zach Johnson Invitational.Â
