AMES, Iowa – Six Cyclones from the men's distance squad head to the Stanford Invite Friday, April 4 as outdoor season continues.

Iowa State has one entered in the steeplechase, two in the 5,000m and three in the 10,000m. Allen Bonnesen begins action at noon CT with the 10,000m and Isaac Rivera runs the 5,000m at 12:35 p.m. Both will compete on the track for the first time as Cyclones.

In the evening session, Quinton Orr begins his senior season running the steeplechase, with sections starting from 7:53-8:19 p.m. CT. Robin Kwemoi Bera will run the 5,000m, with sections from 9:50-10:45 p.m. Rodgers Kiplimo and Ryan Watts wrap up competition with the 10,000m, scheduled for 11:41-12:53 a.m.

Outdoor season began last week at the FSU and Raleigh Relays, where Cyclones put up seven top 10 ranked program performances.

Iowa State next heads to College Station, the host of NCAA West Prelims, for the 44 Farms Team Invite April 11-12 and Des Moines for the Jim Duncan Invite on April 11.
