FOUR THINGS
3 – Iowa State is the only Big 12 program to have three different players named the league's Player of the Week this season (Addy Brown, Audi Crooks, Jada Williams).
4 – Iowa State junior Addy Brown recorded the fourth triple-double in program history against Norfolk State (Nov. 16), tallying 11 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. It marks the first time in over a decade that a Cyclone achieved the feat.
8 – The Cyclones have the eighth-best field goal percentage in NCAA Division I women's basketball, connecting on 48.6 percent of attempts from the floor.
91 – Audi Crooks has scored in double figures in 91 straight games. It marks the longest streak by a Cyclone women's basketball player and longest active streak in NCAA women's basketball. Crooks also holds the longest streak by a Big 12 women's basketball player since Brittney Griner's 116-game run from 2010-2013.
SERIES NOTES
The 106th meeting between Iowa State and Kansas State takes place in Hilton Coliseum on Sunday. The series marks the longest in program history that ISU has with any opponent. Two of the last four matchups between Iowa State and Kansas State have been forced into overtime periods.
LAST TIME OUT
Iowa State fell to BYU in Provo on Tuesday night, snapping a five-game winning streak. ISU had three scorers reach double figures, led by Audi Crooks' 18 points. Kenzie Hare finished with a season-high 15 points on five 3-pointers. Jada Williams added 16 points, her seventh straight game in double figures, with four rebounds and four assists. BYU shot 52 percent from the floor while limiting ISU to 39 percent field goal shooting.
2,000 POINT QUEEN
Iowa State junior Audi Crooks became the program's 35th 1,000 point scorer last season with her 23rd point against Utah (Jan. 5) and joined three other Cyclones in the 2,000 point club on Jan. 28. Crooks is the fastest Big 12 women's basketball player to score 2,000 points, reaching the milestone in 89 games. She was five games faster than the next-fastest Big 12 player, Courtney Paris (Oklahoma, 94 games), to reach the mark.
Crooks was the fastest Cyclone to score 1,000 points, reaching the mark in 49 games. She passed all-time leading scorer Ashley Joens as the fastest ISU player to 1,000 points, the previous best in 64 games. Crooks was also the third fastest Big 12 women's basketball player to reach 1,000 points behind Courtney Paris (Oklahoma, 46) and Sheila Lambert (Baylor, 48). She scored her 1,500th career point against Southern (Nov. 5) in her 70th collegiate game.
Her 2,068 points rank fourth all-time at Iowa State behind Ashley Joens, Angie Welle and Bridget Carleton. Crooks owns the fourth best career scoring average (22.5 ppg) among active DI women's basketball players and ranks sixth overall in the NCAA.
