AMES, Iowa – Iowa State returns home to host Iowa Tuesday for the 58th meeting in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. ISU leads the all-time series 33-24 and enters the match on a four-match series win streak.

The 2026 Cyclones
Iowa State had its first road trip last week, taking both wins at UCSB and vs. Utah State. Lilly Wachholz led the Cyclones with 30 kills at a clip of .500.
Rachel Van Gorp earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and Ava Martin was named Big 12 Setter of the Week in week one awards. It is Van Gorp's third defensive weekly honor, while Martin is the first Big 12 player to earn the nod with the award's introduction this season. The duo also earned a spot on the Big 12 Starting Seven.
Nayeli Gonzalez made her return to the court vs. Loyola, coming back from injury for the first time since Oct. 9, 2024. Gonzalez ranks 20th nationally in both kills (4.71 per set) and points (5.36 per set).
The Opponent
Iowa State won last year's meeting on the Hawkeye's home court in five sets. This season, Iowa began with wins against Army, UAlbany and Sacred Heart. The Hawkeyes then lost to Mississippi State and Alabama in the B1G/SEC Challenge.
Following the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series, ISU travels to Washington, D.C. to meet American and Villanova this Friday and Saturday.
