Redshirted initial collegiate season, posting a 2-8 record competing unattached… wrestled in Kaye Young Open, Harold Nichols Cyclone Open, UNI Open and Grand View Open… won his first two matches at the Cyclone Open, earning an opening round tech fall, followed by a 3-2 decision over Christian Padilla (William Penn)… competed at the FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas.
