2015 Tailgate Tour Stops Announced

Mark your calendars for the 2015 Cyclone Tailgate Tour, a traveling caravan featuring Iowa State coaches, student-athletes, spirit squads, and Cy, This year's schedule includes 9 stops around the state of Iowa. The Jr. Cyclone Club is sponsoring interactive games and activities for kids on the evening stops. Admission is free and open to all fans and friends of the Cyclones.

"This has been our way for us to get out in the state and say 'thanks', Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard said. "We (the athletics department) get to do what we do because of what Cyclone fans allow us to do. These events continue to be great 'friendraisers' and an excellent chance to build up our next generation of Cyclones with young children."

These events offer Cyclone fans an opportunity to interact with Paul Rhoads, Fred Hoiberg, Bill Fennelly, Kevin Jackson and Christy Johnson-Lynch, along with our Athletics Director, Jamie Pollard and "the voice of the Cyclones", John Walters. The atmosphere is great for the young and young at heart with plenty of great door prizes, officially licensed Iowa State apparel for sale by Cy's Locker Room, affordable concessions, ample photo ops with Cy and featured student-athletes. The events are drop-in-as-you-please and include a short program with the coaches.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the 2015 tour stop in your area. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each event.
