Why is there a charge for the Clone Zone?

This exclusive information is available to fans all over the world and we believe this innovative multi-media coverage is coveted by fans of the Cyclones. The content is offered as an option and provided only to those who choose to subscribe. Can I watch live coverage of football or basketball games on the Clone Zone?

Due to Big 12 Conference television contracts, the Clone Zone is not allowed to webcast any Iowa State sporting event being broadcast on network or cable TV. Generally, school web sites can show highlight packages or video board "replays" after a 24-hour waiting period if the content is produced "in house". On-demand replays for events inside Hilton Coliseum will be available on the Clone Zone 24-hours after the game if it is on network or cable TV. If the game is not on network or cable TV, it will be a webcast on the Clone Zone from the new Hilton Coliseum videoboard. Replays using television network-produced content are forbidden.

Can I see away contests on the Clone Zone?

The Cyclones use XOS Technologies as their web site provider. Any other school in the XOS family (in the Big 12 that includes Colorado, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State)may sharetheirwebcast feed in select sports with Iowa State for live events. What other home events are part of the Clone Zone?

The Iowa State Athletics Department webcasts select home events using feeds from the video board at Hilton Coliseum. Because the installation of new video boards at Hilton Coliseumare fully completed, we are committed toshowingas manyevents possible on the Clone Zone. The Clone Zone will webcast home events in volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics (those that are not ontelevision).Therewill beselectwomen's basketball or men's basketball games live streamed as well, but it is dependent upon conflicts with Big 12 Conference television contracts.

Can I listen to the audio of games?

Cyclone fans who desire live radio coverage of football and women's and men's basketball may sign-up for that service through Yahoo! The fee is $4.95 per month (roughly $1.25 per football game and an average of $0.62 per women's or men's basketball game).
