
TRICE ACADEMY (Freshmen/Newcomers) - Character | Educate
- Named in honor of Jack Trice, this program intentionally highlights character development and the successful transition to Iowa State. An emphasis is placed on establishing an individual's sense of purpose, fundamental financial literacy and an education on resources available to Cyclone Football student-athletes (i.e., nutrition, mental health clinicians, athletics academic advisors, tutors, academic coaches, etc.).
- First-year Cyclone student-athletes are enrolled in University Studies 101D: Student-Athlete Experience during their first semester at Iowa State.

STATE SCHOOL - PART 1 (Sophomores/Redshirt Freshmen) - Develop | Empower
- Equips Cyclone Football student-athletes with the transferable tools necessary for the next chapter of their academic and athletic journey. Topics discussed include Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) education, tax education, identity development, handling expectations and smart decision making.
STATE SCHOOL - PART 2 (Juniors/Redshirt Sophomores/Redshirt Juniors)Â - Preparation | Leadership
- Provides purposeful leadership development training for Cyclone Football student-athletes. An emphasis is placed on a deep dive into Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), continued financial literacy education, fundamental life skills and life after football.

LIFE UNIVERSITY (Seniors/Fifth-Year) - Connection | Legacy
- Provides Cyclone Football student-athletes with personal and professional opportunities for growth and a connection with former Cyclone Football players and alumni. An emphasis is placed on alumni mentorship, financial wellness (credit, investing, benefits and insurance), the transition to the NFL and life after football.
