Posted an 8-6 overall record competing in three tournaments… went 2-2 at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open… defeated Matt Ruettiger (Illinois) 7-3 and Ryan Schroepfer (St. Cloud State) 5-0… went 4-2 at the UNI Open with three wins over Division I opponents… picked up wins over Alex Yde (Wisconsin), Bradley Nardick (Wisconsin) and Robert Hughes (Michigan State)… ended the year with a 2-2 mark at the Grand View Open… pinned Trevor Duke (Upper Iowa) and defeated Zach Witte (UNI) by way of decision 8-3.
2011-2012
Redshirted initial collegiate season... posted a 6-6 record while competing unattatched… pinned Minnesota State’s Daniel Kopp and earned a 11-0 major decision over South Dakota State’s Kevin Caruso at the UNI Open… placed fourth at the “Flash” Flanagan Open with a 3-2 record and a pin against Adam Garcia of Coe College… also pinned Dickinson State’s Garrett Traylor and Chrystian Banuelos of York College at the Grand View Open.

Three-time Iowa State Tournament place winner … state champion at 145 as a junior going 37-2 … finished third as a sophomore at 140 and seventh as a senior at 152 … coached by Murray Anderson.
